Exploring type, poster design & grid systems: This project aims to better understand use of grid systems, mixed media and storytelling through typography. Below you’ll see my design explorations as well as my final poster design.
DESIGN DIRECTION
For this poster concept I decided to focus on the Black Lives Matter movement. As an activist and woman of color in the design space, I felt it was important to represent those who have lost their lives to systemic racism & police brutality in the United States.
